  • Please present either a printed copy or the mobile version of this voucher to collect your physical tickets at the destination.

Hot Air Balloon Dubai Important Information

  • A copy of each passenger’s Emirates ID or passport is required at the time of booking, in line with Gulf Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) regulations.
  • Passengers must upload their passport or Emirates ID copy at least 24 hours before the flight using the following link: https://smartdubaitours.ae/.
  • Guests are required to fill out and sign a waiver form at the site before the flight. Without these documents, passengers will not be permitted to fly.
  • A valid WhatsApp number is mandatory to confirm reservations, as pickup details and updates will be communicated through it.
  • Shared transfers are not available from Palm Jebel Ali, Expo, Dubai Investment Park, Al Maktoum Airport, Al Khawaneej, Al Aweer, Dubai South, Damac Hills, Sharjah, and other Emirates.
  • Private transfers can be arranged from Dubai and other Emirates at an additional cost.
  • The Balloon Flights team will confirm the exact pickup time a day before the tour, between 7:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
  • Guests must be ready at the pickup location at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Delays may result in the cancellation of the entire flight.
  • Pickup and drop-off timings for shared transfers may vary by 30 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic and the guest’s location.
  • Children under 5 years old and adults over 70 years old are not permitted to fly.
  • The maximum weight limit per passenger is 119 kg. Guests exceeding this limit require pilot approval and will incur an additional charge.
  • Pregnant women are not permitted to fly for safety reasons.
  • A 100% no-show fee will apply if a guest cancels the tour at the last moment. No alternate tour or refund will be provided.
  • All participants must be in good physical health and capable of climbing into and out of the balloon basket, as well as bending into a brace position during landing. Participation is at the guest’s own risk, and the company will not be held liable for any health-related issues.
  • Guests with disabilities, including physical, emotional, or mental health conditions, are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • Carrying heavy luggage is not allowed during the activity.
  • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited from flying.
  • Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended. Avoid high heels; opt for flat, comfortable shoes or boots.
  • This activity is not suitable for individuals with heart conditions, severe knee or back problems, recent major surgery (within the last six months), or those with a fear of heights.
  • Balloon flights are dependent on weather conditions. The pilot has complete authority to decide whether to proceed or cancel the flight, prioritizing guest safety and adhering to aviation guidelines. In the event of cancellation due to adverse weather, guests will be offered the next available flight date or a full refund.
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the tour departure are eligible for a full (100%) refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee and are not eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will be processed within 5 to 11 business days and credited to the original payment method used.
